Press release from the publisher:FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Sioux Falls, South Dakota, February 27, 2011 - Time Ferret 1.0 was released today by Spireframe Software to the general public.
Time Ferret is a downloadable and installable program that monitors the programs you use and how long you use them. It then
reports to you what programs you used for that day, or any time frame once you use it over time. Time Ferret can be installed on Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, and 7 operating systems.
One additional feature added to version 1.0 is the ability to tell Time Ferret what you are doing. You can set it to "work" mode, and further define what activity you are working on. If you stop Time Ferret and return, the program will ask again what you are working on, as it detected a break in your activity.
Time Ferret was designed to be easy to use, with minimal screens. Once started, Time Ferret knows what to record and does this silently and without interruption. Although additional features are planned, the Time Ferret 1.0 feature list was kept small and dedicated to simply tracking and displaying computer use. As users try and provide feedback, Time Ferret will be quickly modified based on user requests.
